Hi! I hope it’s okay that I’m shamelessly trying to advertise on your blog. I’m hoping that this is a service that you and your followers will be interested in.
I’m working with a small startup called Backpack, which is not-for-profit (read: free!!) service that connects travelers to shoppers to deliver goods overseas without the hassle and fees of international shipping. I don’t want to write a whole essay clogging up your dashboards to explain in detail how it works; the Backpack website does a better job of that than I could! Basically though, someone who is traveling somewhere can let their itinerary be known through Backpack, and other people located where they’re going who want a hard-to-find product from where they’re coming from will rent out some luggage space for the traveller to help bring them the thing they want. Did that make sense? I hope it did.
If you’re a traveler looking for a good way to earn a quick buck on the side while doing what you love, this is a great service for you. And if not, it’s still a great way to get products from other countries that are pricey to import or otherwise impossible to find where you are. I encourage you all to check it out! It’s free to sign up and free to use.
